Over thirty years in the field has strengthened my belief that my role is to provide a warm and caring therapeutic environment that allows and encourages a process of personal discovery and growth. When stress, and life issues take away joy, hope and satisfaction, intelligent people reach out for resources. Few people seek therapy unless they are experiencing some kind of pain. In the beginning, the focus is on the presenting issues and the development of goals for treatment.
My experience includes working with families, couples, and individuals using a Cognitive Behavioral solution focused therapy approach.
